  • Who is the course suitable for? This course is suited to electricians who wish to carry out inspections, testing and commissions as well as periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting or those who are looking to acquire new skills.

    What’s involved in this course? Each qualification within this course involves one unit which covers the necessary learning outcomes for initial verification and periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations. Learners cover safe isolation, inspection, safe testing, pre-energised tests, energised tests, documentation and the practical use of test equipment.

    Where can this course lead me? The qualifications you will gain from this course will provide you with an understanding of the theory and practice involved in the initial verification and commissioning as well as the periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting of single and three phase electrical installations.

    Course Details

    Anyone can take part in this course though it is recommended you have some prior electrical knowledge and experience. The qualification is assessed through two online multiple choice exams, as well as two written exams and two assessments. You will undergo 5 days of training as well as 2 written evening exams. A practical assessment lasting 1 day will also take place once the written exams have been achieved.
