  • A unique opportunity has arisen to become a Customer Service Apprentice. You will have the chance to learn all elements of the business. The business will support you throughout the Apprenticeship in conjunction with PGL Training as the Training Provider.

    Vacancy description

    As an Apprentice your duties will include:

    • Email support to customers.
    • Monitor the support desk throughout the day, insuring that your provide excellent customer service, throughout the day. Where applicable escalate tickets to second line support.
    • Answer new tickets.
    • Report problems to the development team.
    • Monitor existing tickets and chase  them up  if necessary.
    • Create new knowledge base articles based on customer support needs.
    • Maintain a library of  stock ticket replies.
    • Create tutorials for common  task  performed within our software.
    • Providing customer support via YouTube.
    • Fixing problems on customers machines using remote connection, this includes one to one customer support.
    • The ability to provide a personal service to all customers.
    • Updating social media.
    • To comply with any reasonable instruction in a positive manner.
    • Answering the telephone in a polite and efficient manner.
    • Answering and forwarding phone calls.
    • Input data into databases.
    • Ecommerce.
    • Mole End/ One stop Order processing.
    • Support Desk Software.
    • Any knowledge of technical skills is useful however not required for the customer support role. Full Training will be provided.

    Wage- £175 per week

    Future prospects

    Full time employment may be available for the right person. There is a good career ladder opportunities for the right person. The employer is happy to review wage on regular basis. The business also have a bonus scheme worth up to £1,500 a year at Apprentice Level.

    Things to consider

    Our office is vegetarian, so while the candidate doesn’t need to be vegetarian, they will not be able to eat meat in the office. Please make sure that you are able to get to work each day.
