Fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in site carpentry. While working towards a carpentry and joinery Level 2 apprenticeship you will work on various sites, alongside experienced carpenters learning all aspects of the trade.
While working as a site carpentry apprentice, you will learn all aspects of carpentry including;
- Joists stage
- Roofs
- Fitting stairs
- Studwork
- Fitting doors & frames
- Skirting
- Canopies
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Carpentry and Joinery Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional skills maths & English if required
- Mandatory training day, once per week at PGL Training
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- There is a potential full time position offered to the right candidate ( You will need to have your own transport)
Wage- £5.28 per Hour
