    This is an amazing opportunity to work for a large national Construction business. The Apprenticeship is based in the heart of Devon. The business will support you throughout the Apprenticeship in conjunction with PGL Training as the Training Provider.

    Vacancy description

    An electrical installation apprenticeship based on various sites across the South West.

    The candidate will complete on-site training and formal classroom based training. The formal training will be provided on a block release basis in the Exeter area.

    Duties will include

    • To carry out continued electrical maintenance under the supervision of a qualified electrician until such time that qualification allows unsupervised work
    • Install wiring systems, electro-technical
    • Design, build, install and maintain electrical equipment and systems
    • Terminate and connect conductors, cable and cords in electrical systems
    • Making sure that the work area is clean and tidy
    • Be aware of risk assessments and method statements relating to own area of work and to work in safe manner taking account other people’s health and well-being
    • Load and unload materials and equipment as directed

    Wage– £5.45
