Brief overview of the role

The business is looking to recruit an Apprentice to help support the growth of business. PGL Training will support you throughout the Apprenticeship.

Vacancy description

Duties will include:

• Working on domestic / commercial properties
• Fitting new boilers
• Installing pipework including new radiators and kitchen appliances
• Fitting sinks, toilets, baths, dishwashers
• Fitting hot water tanks
• Fixing leaks
• Clearing blocked pipework
• Diagnosing problems
• Laying domestic drainage
• Plastering and patching up of walls
• Read building and engineering drawings
• Understand heating control wiring and circuit diagrams
• Choose materials and equipment
• Inspect and test installations
• Diagnose and fix faults
• Working on different sites

The business will support you throughout the Apprenticeship in conjunction with PGL Training as the Training Provider.

The candidate will complete on-site training and formal classroom-based training. The formal training will be provided on a block release basis in the Exeter area.

Ideally the candidate will be Wellington / Tiverton based and will work with supervisors and travel to various sites across the southwest during the Apprenticeship.

Wage- £4.30 per Hour
