The apprentice role is varied and high energy, involving assisting with the upkeep of the salon and cleaning, looking after clients, carrying out hairdressing services and assisting the styling team with their clients. You will develop valuable practical experience by working in a salon environment to a high standard of professional hairdressing.

What will the apprentice be doing?

• Reception 
• Answering telephone enquiries
• Greeting customers
• Assisting stylists
• Shampooing hair
• Maintaining the presentation of the salon
• General salon duties

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will attend the centre one day per week for training, along with visits in the salon every three weeks for additional support.

Apprentices will work towards the Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

There are a number of opportunities available to you once you have qualified as a Level 2 Hair Professional apprentice including progression onto the Level 3 Advanced & Creative Hair Professional Apprenticeship
