New for 2021, Full Time Courses at PGL Training. Enrolment’s taking place now for the following level one courses:

• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Hairdressing
• Bricklaying
• Carpentry

Your chosen course will allow you to gain key skills in your selected trade with the opportunity to gain a Level one qualification. You will gain support throughout the programme with regular reviews from your tutors. It will give you the chance to develop your knowledge and skills and will hopefully lead to you gaining an Apprenticeship in your chosen field.

Didn’t achieve Maths and English when you left school?  PGL Training will support you in gaining these qualifications as part of your course. There is no cost and it counts as full time education. On top of the above we would also support you in finding local work experience with top employers.

Whilst studying your level one you can also work towards extra qualifications and learn skills such as:

• Health and Safety Training - CSCS Card
• First Aid
• ICT Functional Skills
• Employability Skills

Where will the training take place?

Training will take place between both our Exeter training centres, located at Sowton Industrial Estate and Clyst Works, Topsham Road. Hairdressing training can be based at both our Sowton and Torquay Academies.

Do I require any equipment for the course?

If you have chosen to complete a course in Construction, Electrical or Plumbing you will be required to have safety boots. All other equipment will be provided by PGL Training
