    Job Title: Electrical Trainee Assessor

    Responsible to: Head of Electrical

    Location: A mix of remote / home working and centre based at Clyst Works, Clyst Road, Topsham, Exeter EX3 0DB and other PGL Sites.

    Salary: £32,000-£36,000 depending on qualifications/prior experience (Increments on completion of assessing and teaching qualifications)                                                                                                      

    Hours of work:  Full time

    Package: 38 days holiday including bank holidays, plus a Christmas shut down. Pension.

    Essential Qualifications Level 3 Electrical Installation or Industry-accredited

    Desirable Qualifications A desire to work towards TAQA Award and teaching qualification

    Experience/Knowledge  Experience in the Electrical industry; good IT skills; full driving licence

    Duties (not limited to):

    • The delivery of apprenticeship programmes including training and assessment activities.
    • Timely reporting of learner tracking and achievement.
    • To deliver on site and in a classroom as well as a proportion of remote teaching, learning and assessment via appropriate platforms such as MS Teams and Zoom (or equivalent).
    • Monitoring registers for classroom delivery.
    • Completing e-training sessions such as virtual lessons.
    • Be aware of, and maintain compliance with, all departmental and PGL requirements relating to Health and Safety and the on-going training required
    • Development of suitable training/assessment resources to meet sector needs and new qualifications.
    • Liaison with employers regarding learner progress and conducting reviews as they become due.
