  • Location - Centre based, Exeter

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Caretaker to join our team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, security and maintaining cleanliness of the site.

    The main responsibilities of the role will be ensuring security of the buildings and grounds through locking and unlocking, checking all windows and doors, maintenance of all buildings, grounds, and utilities and ensuring that any repairs are properly and promptly carried out, general cleaning in and around the Centre including kitchen, halls, floors, classrooms, office space and communal areas as required.

    An understanding of Health and Safety and ability to ensure that regulations are followed (COSHH) are essential as well as having the ability to work unsupervised.

    Working 3.5 hours a day Monday to Friday 7am – 9am and 430pm – 6pm, annual leave entitlement 28 days including bank holidays pro rata plus Christmas shutdown period, Statutory sick pay and pension.

  • We have an exciting opportunity for a Hair/Barbering Trainer/ Assessor to join our team.

    Do you have hold a Level 3 in Hairdressing/Barbering Qualifications; TAQA, A1 or D32/33; and a Teaching Qualification (A IQA Award, V1 or D34 is also desirable) and have experience of delivering training both remotely using online platforms, in a classroom environment and in commercial salons? If so this may be the role for you?

    The delivery of apprenticeship standards and traineeship programmes including training and assessment activities is a large part of this role as well as liaising with employers and supporting the learners through their journey.

    Based across PGL Sites and home working - this is permanent position; Full time hours would be preferable although part-time (minimum 16 hours a week) would be considered. 30 days annual leave per annum (including bank holidays), plus Christmas shutdown, pension.

    Salary £23,000 - £27,500 per annum depending on experience.
